I now own All Things Must Pass on vinyl!!

I’ve been wanting this album for so long, as it’s one of my top all-time favourite records, and so it was my ultimate goal for an addition to my record collection. But it’s really hard to find around these parts, and usually very expensive when I do come across it, usually being around $80 or so. I didn’t expect to be getting it anytime soon, and that if I ever got it, it wouldn’t be in very good condition. But yesterday I went to the record store, and lo and behold, there it was, a new remastered limited edition still in its plastic wrap, costing $67. I debated a while whether I should buy it… and in the end, I just couldn’t resist. It was a bit pricey, but because I have a job now, I was spending my own money on it, and well, I was willing to spend it on that. Definitely the most expensive record in my collection, even more than the $50 UK import White Album with the original poster that I got a couple years back.
And I’d say it was well worth it. It came in this gorgeous case that had a number printed on the back and opened up along a spine like a book. The three records each had their own sleeve with the lyrics printed on it (and the jam session record had a cute punny “Apple Jam” jar design on it).

It also came with a fold-out full size poster of George! …Which is that one photo of him in a dark hallway that’s a bit creepy, but still cool.

So so happy that I finally have this record! Listening to it right now… and it sounds absolutely fantastic. In the end, that’s all that matters. :)
